Ekklesia Bible Living (the "Site") respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects users and contributors to do the same. If you believe that material accessible on this Site infringes a copyright you own or control, you may file a notice in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)) by following the procedure below.
How to file a DMCA notice
A valid takedown notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works).
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with sufficient detail (URL or specific page on this Site) to permit us to locate the material.
- The complainant's contact information: full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that the complainant has a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that the complainant is the copyright owner or is authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Notices that do not contain all of the elements above may not be actionable under the DMCA.

Counter-notification
If material you submitted has been removed in response to a DMCA notice and you believe in good faith that the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your full legal name, mailing address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the United States District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which Berean Defense L.L.C. may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the complainant or its agent.
Repeat-infringer policy
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, Berean Defense L.L.C. has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also at our sole discretion limit access to the Site or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual-property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
Important note on counter-notices and false claims
Knowingly misrepresenting in a DMCA notice or counter-notice that material or activity is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification, may subject the misrepresenting party to liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). We may share information from any notice or counter-notice with the other party.
This page describes a procedure required by U.S. copyright law and does not constitute legal advice. If you are unsure whether the use of material is infringing, consult an attorney before filing a notice.
